Boston, December 11, 2024 – The Communications Strategy Group Inc. (CSG), a US-based life sciences consultancy today announced that John Maclennan, PhD, had joined the firm as a Senior Consultant.

Ted Agne, CSG’s Founder and President, said, “We are especially fortunate to have Dr. Maclennan, a highly talented and experienced life sciences and technology professional, joining our team. We’ve known and worked with him for many years in his previous role at the British Consulate and have always appreciated his tremendous knowledge of how overseas companies should approach the US.”

In his six-year term at the Consulate, Dr. Maclennan and his team of life sciences specialists helped many UK companies establish operations across the US by setting strategy and formulating tactics to increase trans-Atlantic trade and investment.

Prior to his work with the British government, Dr. Maclennan provided business development and strategic marketing counsel to a broad range of companies in microbiome research, diagnostic services, drug discovery and development, and analytical and separations technologies. Dr. Maclennan earned his PhD in chemistry at the University of Edinburgh and his MBA at Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
