Monroe B. Scharff

Mr. Scharff has over 30 years of investor relations and financial consulting experience. He founded Monroe B. Scharff & Company, Inc. in 1958 to practice corporate public relations consulting in New York and later expanded the practice to specialize in investor relations. The firm was later acquired by Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson, Boston, an advertising and public relations agency, where Mr. Scharff continued to manage the practice; he was later elected to the firm's board of directors.

A representative sampling of Mr. Scharff's clients have included Chemfab, Reebok International, Dexter Corporation, Inforonics, Peoples Heritage Bank, Hannaford Bros. Company, The TJX Companies, Helix Technology, Kronos, Dynamics Research, Duracraft Corp. and Watts Industries.

Mr. Scharff currently serves as an Advisory Board member for Maps a la Carte, Inc. and was recently elected as a member of the Investor Relations Advisory Board of Bentley College. He is a former director-at-large of the National Investor Relations Institute (Boston Chapter), Maine Capital Corporation and the Foundation for Blood Research. He is a trustee emeritus of the Forman School and a former director of the Portland Museum of Art and the YMCA of Greater New York.

Mr. Scharff is a graduate of Bard College with a B.A. degree from Columbia University.
